I started this blog last year in hopes of being consistent and a active blogger. However, as much as I wanted to post daily or even weekly there was a lot going on in my life -- which did not allow much time for the blogsphere. I enjoy reading blogs and I love seeings pictures people take; I often hope to one day take decent pictures, just like some of my favorite bloggers do. Last year around Christmas time I purchased a Canon SLR 500D and I'm sad to say I haven't used this camera as much as I would have liked. This will change.
For today I leave you with some strawberry crepes and vanilla ice cream. They were absolutely delicious, but the sauce was a bit runny. I made it with fresh strawberries and letting them simmer on the stove with some granulated sugar, squeezed some lemon and water. Yes, I just said water. Nevertheless, it was really nice and not overly sweet.
How do you guys like your crepes? What kind of sauces do you make? Recommendations would be highly welcome, since I'm not sure if water should be used?
